Meet Heidi Maskell

As a Registered Professional Counsellor I bring over 30 years of counselling, coaching and pastoral care into my practice.

I received my Diploma of Applied Psychology and Counselling at Kelowna College of Professional Counselling and am a member of the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association.

I have been married for over 40 years. Together we raised four sons and successfully homeschooled them for many years. We make our home in the beautiful Okanagan Valley of BC.

For the last decade I have lived and worked abroad (6 countries, two continents, 9 years) and used my counselling skills in multi-cultural settings. These experiences have given me invaluable insight into cross-cultural communications, culture shock, and many other challenges facing those who either live and work abroad or are newcomers to Canada. I provide counselling support to those seeking to understand cross-cultural challenges. I am also fluent in English, Spanish and German (although a bit rusty).

I offer genuine warmth, an empathic spirit, and keen insight to create an environment in which you can grow, resolve long term problems, and gain healthy new perspectives.
